Florida is awesome. Reason #1: Disneyworld — Reason #2: Great Basketball — Reason #3: the Daytona Beach Film Festival

GoldenBox was honored at this year’s fest by capturing Best Overall Production. The 3-day festival brings together films from all around the world, showcasing both features and shorts, as well as spotlighting local Florida filmmakers.

GoldenBox was selected to screen alongside several other short films, including friend and fellow filmmaker Anthony Falleroni‘s Boys in the Hood, which was awarded Best Script for its subversive humor, sharp dialogue, and inspiring racist themes. Definitely worth watching if you like to laugh and set crosses on fire.

Coming up next for GoldenBox is a whole slew of new festival announcements. Details coming soon. In the mean time, happy holidays and don’t forget to tip your waitress.
